Summary

The purposeof thisroleis toprovide management support to the Division,with responsibilityfortheadministrativeandclericalstaffandwillensurethat services are delivered within budget to agreed quality standards.

The post holder will work with Directorate & Divisional staff and other senior managersinthestrategicdevelopmentoftheservicesprovidedbytheDivision.This will includeoperational business planning and monitoring, supportingthe delivery of key projects, and the continuous improvement of the services we provide.

Responsible for ensuring robust systems are in place to achieve the safe and timely delivery of administrative processes related topatients beingreferredand /or treated by clinicians and promote good and effective practice in the department by example and instruction.



Responsible for cascading and implementation of new procedures and policies affectingAdministrative,ClericalandOperationalstaff.Takinganactiveroleinthe


monitoring of compliancy to these policies, procedures, and standards across all administrative,accessandclericalfunctionscarriedoutintheDivisionandwiderTrust.



To provide assurance to the Clinical Service Manager for Spinal and Paediatric Services, the Trust that the governance of all systems, processes, policies and procedurescarriedoutbystaffwithintheDivisionandwiderTrustinrelationtopatient access and are safe and fit for purpose.



Toworkwithcolleagueswithinthe DivisioninachievingtheaimsoftheDivision.
