Full Time Permanent
Winchester Office (5 days/week)
£28,000 - £32,000 + Company Van + Benefits
The Role We're seeking a Project Engineer to manage HVAC projects from initial survey through to completion. You'll start supporting smaller projects alongside our experienced Contracts Manager, progressing to independent management of larger commercial and residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and prepare accurate, competitive quotations
- Plan and organise labour, materials and resources
- Produce risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
- Brief installation teams on-site and act as primary customer contact
- Monitor progress to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery
- Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams
- Produce O&M manuals for project handover
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Full clean UK driving license
- 2+ years engineering experience (OR engineering graduates eager to learn)
- Confident customer/supplier communication (phone, email, face-to-face)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and time management
- Flexible team player comfortable in small, collaborative environment
Desirable:
- AutoCAD experience (training provided)
Hours: 08:30–17:30 office-based (5 days/week) with occasional early/late site visits (hours taken in lieu).
