About the Role
SEARCH is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major project within the UK water sector. This is a key temporary position to provide additional capacity on a significant water network infrastructure scheme.
The successful candidate will work directly for a leading Tier 1 contractor. You will provide essential engineering support, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in reinforced concrete and civil works.

Key Responsibilities
· Provide engineering support and precise setting out on site using GPS and Total Station equipment.
· Oversee RC structure construction and concrete works, implementing rigorous quality control measures.
· Produce and maintain comprehensive quality control documentation.
· Utilise CAD software for design reviews and drafting.
· Collaborate with site management to ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.
· Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Essential Skills & Experience
· Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor.
· Strong civil engineering background, with essential experience in RC structures and concrete.
· Proficiency in the use of engineering/surveying equipment (GPS, Total Station).
· Competency in CAD software and Microsoft Excel.
· Valid CSCS card.
· Valid EUSR Clean Water card.
· Excellent attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to quality.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.

· Previous experience within the UK water infrastructure sector.
· Familiarity with the standards and processes of major utility contractors.
