Our client, an outstanding educational institution in Exeter, Devon, is seeking a talented and dedicated Part-time SEN Tutor to join their dynamic team. As a Part-time SEN Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs and helping them reach their full potential. Your role will involve delivering one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions, providing personalised support and guidance to ensure each student's academic and personal growth.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of SEN teaching methodologies and a proven track record of working effectively with students who have a range of learning difficulties, including (but not limited to) autism, dyslexia, and ADHD. You will be skilled in creating engaging and effective lesson plans, utilising a variety of teaching techniques and resources to cater to the unique learning styles of your students.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the school's SEN team, sharing best practices, contributing to the development of tailored support strategies, and working closely with parents and carers to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.
