Summary
As a Complementary Therapist, you will: Provide patient-centred therapy, listening to individual needs and adapting treatments appropriately Deliver complementary therapies safely and competently, taking account of complex physical and psychological needs Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and recognise personal limitations, referring on when necessary Maintain professional standards in line with relevant professional bodies and best clinical practice Contribute to service development within the Wellbeing team Support the induction and mentoring of new staff and volunteers Understand and manage the emotional impact of working within palliative and end-of-life care Participate in supervision, training, team meetings and wider hospice responsibilities Comply with hospice policies, safeguarding, confidentiality and health & safety requirements
