Summary
Hays Education are working with a supportive primary school in the Wolverhampton area who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident Year 4 Teacher from April. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, continuing through to the end of the academic year.

Your New Role
You will take full responsibility for the Year 4 class, which includes a small number of pupils with mild behaviour needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
- Maintaining positive behaviour strategies to support learning and consistency
- Creating an inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress for all learners
- Completing assessments and tracking pupils' progress effectively
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in this one‑form entry setting
- Attending meetings, including team meetings, reviews and parents' evenings
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 4
- Confidence in managing behaviour using positive and consistent approaches
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of a mixed‑ability class
- A proactive and committed attitude to supporting pupils' academic and personal development
