We have an exciting opportunity to join our Specialist Palliative care Service based at BRE, Watford supporting our amazing team of Multiprofessionals who make up this specialist service Providing Palliative and End of life care across south and west Hertfordshire.
Our ideal candidate will be extremely well organised, flexible, approachable, professional and above all compassionate to the needs of both patients and team members within the service/other health professionals. They need to have an in-depth Clinical knowledge of Specialist Palliative care.
This role Involves management and leadership of this specialist service, and management of the Hosted service, The Palliative Care referrals centre, working alongside other palliative care providers across South and West Hertfordshire.
Essentially you will have a wide range of IT and computer skills, including experience using System One, and feel confident in using bespoke systems and a range of other software packages. You will have an excellent range of communication and customer care skills.
The role is mainly Monday-Friday but may require weekend working depending on the needs of the service. This service is a 7 day service open 9-5pm.
• Day to day management of the community clinical nurse specialist team.
• Supporting the clinical nurse specialists with complex symptom control.
• Clinical supervision .
• Staff rosters and team meetings
• Education programmes
• Representing Pembridge service at internal and external meeting
