Summary
Please see Job description for further details: To act as an autonomous practitioners within a specialised acute paediatric physiotherapy and occupational Therapy service, providing physiotherapy assessment, treatment and ongoing physical management to children in a range of ward settings, outpatient departments, specialised clinics and community settings. Participate in the physiotherapy rotational scheme, working across the Trust within orthopaedic in-patients and outpatients, rheumatology, burns and plastics, hydrotherapy, limb reconstruction, critical Care, medical and surgical inpatients, Cystic Fibrosis, LTV, acquired brain injury, acute neurology, neurosurgery, tone management, neuromuscle and oncology. Supervise and support more junior therapists, therapy practitioners and support workers. Participate in training and education and supervise and manage undergraduate students and work experience students. Participate in out of hours, weekend and on-call rota work as required Be an active member of the department supporting with appropriate non-clinical roles as delegated by the service leads. Support audit, service development and research in conjunction with the senior staff
