About the role:
We are looking for a well-qualified, passionate, specialist music teacher, who values continuing professional development, to join our thriving Performing Arts and P.E. Faculty. This is a superb opportunity to be part of a team who are committed to developing the musical skills of all students by providing them with a broad range of experiences and making an important contribution to their personal development. The role is suitable for either an Early Career Entry Teacher or an experienced practitioner.
Music is a highly valued part of our provision with G.C.S.E. and A level being well established within the KS4 and KS5 curriculums. Music is taught in three music rooms, two of which are equipped with keyboards, computers installed with compositional software and a Smartscreen. There are also two practice rooms.A wide range of extra-curricular activities take place, including: Les Estrallas Girls’ Choir, Guitar Group and Samba, Rock and Concert bands. The successful candidate would be expected to contribute to these activities as well as teaching music up to and including G.C.S.E. A level teaching may also be available.
