Summary
We are looking to appoint a SENCO Assistant to join our SEND team. As SENCO Assistant you will work with and support the SENCO team in their role as they strive to ensure that everything is in place for the students identified as SEND.Job OverviewTo support the SENCO in leading and managing the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the Academy. To provide a structured administrative base for all SEND matters, to coordinate interventions and support with operational management of the department.

GCSE Maths and English of Grade C/4 or aboveEvidence of relevant CPD or qualifications in SENDExperience working within an educational setting, supporting students with SENDExcellent working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice (2014) and the statutory requirements for EHCP'sExcellent communication skills
