Summary

For further information, please refer to the detailed Job Description and Person Specification To advise and assist managers on the interpretation and application of People Management policies and procedures ensuring a consistent and timely approach.To actively advise, coach and assist managers in the application of the Trusts ER policies and procedures e.g. Disciplinary, Grievance Resolution, Sickness Absence, Performance, Flexible Working, Dignity at Work, Maternity/Paternity/Adoption and Organisational Change. This will include supporting investigations, supporting managers attending hearings and appeals to present cases, supporting managers hearing short term sickness cases and providing advice on the written confirmation of outcome in cases managed informally.To ensure all ER casework is logged and tracked on the ER Tracker, and to act as Systems Administrator for ER Tracker, producing reports when required to help monitor ER casework progress in line with HROD KPIs/SLAs. To support managers to proactively manage sickness absence by reviewing monthly absence reports and identifying cases that have triggered and require appropriate action and interventions. To provide professional guidance on employment related equality matters and to facilitate the implementation of the Trusts EDI objectives and policies.
