At LJWB Moorcare (Leeds Jewish Welfare Board), we support people in the North Leeds community to live independently and confidently in their own homes — and we’re looking for caring, reliable people to join our friendly team.

Hours Available

16-30 hour contracts available
(Evenings and weekend availability essential, every other weekend required)

Bank staff – evening and weekend availability needed

Part-time and full-time hours available

Pay

£12.75 per hour (weekdays)

£13.25 per hour (weekends & after 6pm weekdays)

What You’ll Need

Full UK driving licence

Access to your own car

A positive attitude and genuine care for others

(Gender is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.)

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

No two days are the same, but you might:

Support with personal care

Help with medication

Prepare simple meals

Provide companionship and emotional support

Help clients enjoy hobbies and activities

Keep records and report any concerns

You won’t be thrown in at the deep end — we provide:

- Fully paid training
- Shadowing shifts with experienced staff
- Ongoing support from a friendly team
