Summary
Main responsibilities will include: Molecular testing for respiratory virusesInterpretation of culture screening procedures on chromagenic media e.g. MRSA screeningTo independently perform sensitivity tests under the direction of qualified staff.Processing of tissue and sterile fluids.Process samples of a high risk nature in the Category 3 accommodation.Operation of analysers e.g. Seegene Starlet, Cobas 6800, Maldi-Tof, UF5000, EntericBio and GeneXpert.Any further appropriate tasks which may otherwise have been performed by a qualified member of staff.
