The Electronics Technician Opportunity
A well-established, specialist engineering business is looking for an Electronics Technician to repair, fault-find and calibrate electronics equipment used by electronics and electrical professionals world-wide.
This is not a production-line role but rather a technical, hands-on and requires experience testing, calibrating and repairing complex analytical equipment.
You’ll be joining a small, highly capable engineering team that genuinely punches above its weight in a niche global market. The culture is relaxed, professional and focused on quality and a personal approach for their clients.
If you’re someone who understands instrumentation and can be effective from day one, this could be a strong long-term move.
What You’ll Be Doing
Fault finding and repairing complex analytical equipment and associated instrumentation
Component-level diagnostics on analogue and digital electronics
Calibration, testing and verification of returned equipment
Supporting continuous improvement of repair and service processes
Working closely with engineering and technical teams to maintain product performance standards
This is a role where attention to detail really matters.
What We’re Looking For in the Electronics Technician Role
You’ll likely have experience in:
Electronic test and measurement equipment
Power electronics or instrumentation
Component-level PCB diagnostics
ability to use standard electronic equipment such as Oscilloscopes and multimeters
Ability to read schematics and circuit diagrams
Ability to read schematics and circuit diagrams
Some mechanical knowledge
We’re looking for someone who can walk in and start contributing from day one with a good basic electronics knowledge.
What’s On Offer at this Electronics Technician Job
37.5 hour working week
Salary negotiable depending on experience (quoted figure is an indication and we are open to reasonable discussions)
Excellent Matched pension contributions up to 10%
Some flexibility in working arrangements
