This role is all about using your practical skills and attention to detail to look after a place that people love. We're looking for a Facilities Assistant at Rayleigh Mount to help keep the whole place in good condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit.

Salary: £2,229.5 per annum

What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be part of a team of two Facilities Assistants based at Hatfield Forest.
What you'll be doing
You’ll help with the day-to-day presentation of the Mount. Your main role will be the opening and closing of the site. The role is shared between two people working on a 3 day on/off rota for 1 hour a day.

The morning would consist of arriving and unlocking the three gates and whilst walking across the site checking that the site is safe and reporting any damage from vandalism or fallen trees/branches to the Ranger team. This usually takes up to 15 minutes. Then returning for the closing time of the site and carrying out a litter pick as you check and shepherd people out of the site before locking up all of the gates. This usually takes up to 45 minutes.

If there is substantial amounts of litter where assistance would be needed, then this would be reported to the Ranger team.
