Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) | Hazelbrook Care Home | Leicester, LE3 1LQ

£50,000 per annum | 40 hours per week | Commissioning Opportunity

This is not a steady-state Deputy Manager role.
This is a chance to help build something extraordinary from the very beginning.

At Hazelbrook Care Home, you won’t be stepping into someone else’s culture. You’ll help create it. As Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll work alongside the Commissioning Home Manager to open and shape an 80-bed specialist service designed to redefine complex nursing, dementia, and mental health care.

From the first resident to full occupancy, your leadership will help ensure every person who lives here experiences safety, dignity, belonging, and exceptional clinical care.

This is your opportunity to help bring a brand-new home to life.

About Hazelbrook Care Home

Hazelbrook is a purpose-built, specialist service in Leicester, designed around four self-contained, 20-bed bungalow-style households. Each household creates a calm, therapeutic environment where residents receive highly personalised nursing care and support.

Our focus is on supporting people with:

  • Complex nursing needs
  • Advanced dementia
  • Mental health conditions
  • Neurological and specialist care requirements

Hazelbrook is part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist division of Care Concern Group, a respected provider with over 130 services across the UK. We are known for investing in people, supporting innovation, and creating homes where both residents and teams thrive.

Your Role: Helping Build Excellence from Day One

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be a visible clinical leader within the home. You’ll support the Home Manager in commissioning the service, building the team, and embedding safe, outstanding clinical care from the very beginning.

You will help shape systems, mentor nurses, and ensure every resident receives compassionate, person-centred support grounded in clinical excellence.

You’ll play a central role in:

  • Supporting the safe and successful commissioning of the home
  • Leading and developing the nursing and care team
  • Ensuring clinical governance, compliance, and quality standards are embedded
  • Supporting safe admissions and person-centred care planning
  • Acting as a role model for professional, compassionate clinical leadership
  • Building trust with residents, families, and external professionals
  • Supporting the Home Manager in creating a positive, values-driven culture
  • Your leadership will help create a home where people feel safe, supported, and proud to work.

About You

You are a Registered Nurse who leads with both clinical confidence and compassion. You bring calm leadership, strong clinical judgement, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding care.

You will have:

  • Active NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
  • Experience working in a nursing home or complex care environment
  • Strong clinical knowledge, including dementia or mental health care
  • Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising clinical teams
  • A clear understanding of CQC standards and clinical governance
  • A calm, supportive, and visible leadership style
  • A genuine passion for improving lives through exceptional care

Commissioning experience is welcomed but not essential. What matters most is your leadership, clinical integrity, and values.

What You’ll Receive

  • £50,000 per annum
  • 40 hours per week, full time
  • Company pension

A Career-Defining Opportunity
