About the role
We’re recruiting a Store Manager for a high street retailer specialising in cards, gifts and partyware. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in delivering great products, great prices and great service. It’s a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Store Manager or a strong Assistant Manager looking for a step‑up opportunity.
What you’ll do
· Lead, coach and motivate your team
· Drive sales and achieve store targets
· Deliver great customer service
· Maintain high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and safety
· Recruit, train and develop your team
· Plan, delegate and prioritise effectively
· Ensure compliance with company procedures and cash handling
What you’ll bring
· Retail management experience (Assistant Manager or above) - 2 years
· A customer‑first mindset and strong commercial awareness
· Confidence leading and developing a team
· Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment
· A positive, hands‑on approach
