typically 2 days in the office and 3 days in the field / working from home but there is flexibility.
We are looking for a repairs professional with experience in dealing with complex cases such as decants or disrepair and minor adaptations in voids. They will assist in the management of our in-house voids team and external contractors to deliver a high-quality void / decant service.
You will oversee the end-to-end process of decant repairs management and adaptations in voids monitoring all parts of these processes, and taking action to achieve fast re-let times and minimizing rent loss.
As a key member of the Void / Decant Service Management Team, you will work closely with colleagues from within the service and other departments to develop our void / decant service and improve performance.
You will have experience managing contractors and the ability to manage contractors, analyze performance information, and use external and internal customer insights to identify and deliver improvements.
You should have relevant maintenance related social housing experience and a good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, basic property surveying techniques and SOR codes
You must be able to drive and have a suitable vehicle to use on a daily basis. expenses are paid weekly.
