Estimator
A opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Estimator who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone who wants to join a respected and successful main contractor with strong team who have an excellent strike rate.
About the Role
This position sits within a well‑established main contractor operating across a wide range of project types including commercial buildings, education facilities, healthcare environments, heritage schemes, leisure facilities, community buildings, residential developments, refurbishment works, fit‑outs, and new‑build construction. The business delivers projects up to £40m.
The successful candidate will join a strong pre‑construction team based in Hertfordshire, working closely with 7 experienced Estimators in a collaborative and supportive environment. Hybrid working can be discussed
This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator — whether established or ready to step up — who is looking for long‑term career development and the opportunity to take ownership within a busy and reputable contractor.
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years’ estimating experience
• Strong main contracting background
• Experience working on projects such as commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, leisure, residential, refurbishment, fit‑out or new‑build schemes
• Personable, team‑focused and confident working within a busy estimating department
