About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor who wants to develop and make a difference through working in a fast-paced HR Team.
You will be the main point of contact for our managers on all employee relations issues, providing professional, confidential and proactive support and advice across the employee life cycle, supporting managers with managing their teams and helping to ensure risk is minimised on formal ER cases. We are looking for an individual who has the appetite to confidently manage a case load consisting of disciplinaries, capability, grievances, and absence issues.
This role will include working with managers that have recently joined the organisation, coaching and supporting to embed the organisational values and policies.
Duties will include:
- Establish good relationships with your key customers, providing advice on HR best practice and supporting managers to apply policies consistently and effectively.
- Provide effective and quality assured advice, guidance, and support in the areas of, but not limited to, Employee Relations, Recruitment, TUPE, Equality and Diversity, Reward and Change Management in accordance with policy and best practice.
- Research and contribute to the continued development of the full suite of HR Policies and Procedures.
- Interpret and advise on employment law issues.
- Ensure that the HR and Payroll system reflect all changes for your areas of responsibility.
- Coach managers and, where required, manage HR processes/interventions in key areas such as recruitment and retention, work force planning and development, diversity and inclusion, disciplinary, grievance, change management and engagement.
About you
To be a HR Advisor at Certitude, the following are essential:
- Advising and supporting Managers on HR related matters and policy and providing credible solutions.
- Case managing a high workload and appetite to proactively support and resolve ER cases (including disciplinaries, grievances, capability, and absence)
- Providing analysis of HR and performance related information
- CIPD or relevant professional qualification or equivalent
- Plan and organise work proactively and meet deadlines
