Summary

We're looking for a Cleaner to join our St John's Catholic Comprehensive School team based in Gravesend, Kent.

Location: St John's Catholic Comprehensive School, Rochester Road, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 2JW - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 30 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Join our welcoming team at Kier on a 3-month fixed term contract, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at St John's Catholic Comprehensive School. This is an opportunity to contribute to creating a positive learning environment for students and staff alike, with the potential for contract extension for the right candidate.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the school. Your day to day will include:

-Cleaning designated areas to a high standard using approved products

-Following COSHH regulations and colour coding systems for safe and effective cleaning

-Working collaboratively with team members to ensure all areas are properly maintained

-Being flexible to provide cover for colleagues during sickness or annual leave

-Contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace environment

-You have some cleaning experience (though not essential as training will be provided)

-You enjoy working as part of a supportive team

-You take pride in your work and attention to detail

-You're reliable and can work independently when needed

-You're friendly and positive with a collaborative approach
