Are you a skilled Preschool Lead Teacher with a passion for the Montessori method?
Action Staffing is recruiting for an inspirational Lead Teacher to join a beautiful setting in Streatham. We are looking for an educator who understands how to create a "prepared environment" where children are encouraged to be independent, curious, and confident learners.
If you have a background in Montessori studies or experience working in a Montessori setting, we want to hear from you! This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a room with autonomy and support.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Leadership: Lead the planning and delivery of a rich, child-led curriculum that blends the EYFS with Montessori principles.
Environment: Create a stimulating, organized, and accessible learning environment that fosters independence.
Observation: Conduct high-quality observations and assessments to track children’s progress and identify next steps.
Mentorship: Guide and support Junior Practitioners, modeling best practice in teaching and learning.
Partnership: Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, keeping them updated on their child’s development.
Requirements
Qualification: Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (Essential).
Experience: Proven experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner.
Montessori: A Montessori Diploma or previous experience in a Montessori setting is highly preferred.
Passion: A genuine commitment to child-led learning and high standards.
