Key Responsibilities
Room Leadership: Lead the Preschool room with confidence, modeling high-quality practice and ensuring the EYFS curriculum is delivered creatively.
Outdoor Learning: Champion the nursery’s Garden Project, planning engaging outdoor activities that encourage exploration and physical development.
Montessori Approach: Implement Montessori-inspired teaching methods to foster independence and curiosity in children.
Team Mentoring: Support, train, and inspire your team of practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and education.
Parent Partnership: Build strong, collaborative relationships with parents and the local community to support every child’s learning journey.
Requirements
Qualification: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (Essential).
Desirable: EYTS, QTS, Montessori Diploma, or Forest School training is a huge bonus.
Experience: Proven experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner within a Preschool setting.
Passion: A genuine love for Outdoor Learning and leading creative projects.
Benefits
Excellent Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (Dependent on experience).
Flexibility: Option for Term-Time Only (Pro-rata salary) or Full-Time.
