Job Title: QTS SEN Tutor - Core Subjects (ASAP Start)
Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: £25 per hour (minimum starting rate)
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours
Our SEN Tutors play a crucial role in supporting pupils who are currently out of mainstream education. Working across Manchester, you will deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to students with a range of additional needs, helping them rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and progress academically.
We recognise that every learner's pathway is unique. That's why we provide flexible tutoring opportunities, allowing you to work around your availability while making a measurable and lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-to-one Maths and English sessions tailored to individual SEN needs.
* Create and implement personalised learning plans to address gaps in knowledge.
* Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with pupils with SEN in a 1:1 or small group setting.
* Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in core subjects.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Two years of professional references.
