Location: Handsworth, Birmingham B21
Daily Pay Rate: £105 - 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Are you an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant ready to make a real impact? We're working with a supportive primary school in Handsworth seeking a confident TA to deliver targeted interventions and support pupils preparing for SATs, while also working closely with children who have additional needs.
This is a long-term role, with the opportunity to remain in post next academic year.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver small group maths & reading interventions
- Support Year 6 pupils preparing for KS2 SATs
- Provide tailored support for pupils with EHCPs
- Work closely with the class teacher & SENCo to implement support plans
- Adapt resources and track pupil progress
What We're Looking For:
- Previous KS2 experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs expectations
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND and EHCPs
- Confidence leading small group sessions independently
- A proactive, patient and encouraging approach
