Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive individual to work within King’s Lynn’s Forward Step Behaviour Base. In this role, you will assist teachers by delivering care, learning activities, and tailored support to pupils, both individually and in groups, including those with special educational needs. You will play a key part in helping pupils access learning, maintain positive behaviour, and make strong progress in core subjects. A central aim of the post is to help pupils within Forward Step develop the skills and confidence needed to successfully transition back into mainstream lessons.

About You

• Qualified to Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A-C or equivalent)

• Relevant course to support learninge.gNVQ3 relevant library and information qualifications or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in the operation of organisational and administrative procedures including excellent ICT skills
• Proven experience working in an educational environment
• Previous experience working with students and meeting their particular needs and requirements
• Flexible and adaptable to undertake varied duties
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Ability to relate to different ages and abilities
