Summary

A software developer is required to develop a patented invention as a game engine. This opportunity is available initially on a probationary period with the option to join a degree-level apprenticeship in the new academic year. Over the duration of the apprenticeship you will be expected to implement an Azure service connected to ubiquitious client applications and human-interface controllers.

Essential qualifications:
- Neurodivergence Wales E-Learning Certificates; AND
- GCSEs in English, Mathematics, Physics (A-C, or equivalent).
- Level 3 BTEC / Vocational Qualification in IT / Digital / Engineering / DevOps / GameDev; OR
- A-Levels in ICT/CompSci/Digital, Media/Film, Maths/Physics

Desirable qualifications:
- Teaching or assessor qualification

Essential knowledge/experience:
- C++, C# programming languages
- HTML5, CSS3, XML

Desirable knowledge/experience:
- Artificial intelligence (AIML, POML)
- Graphics (SVG)
- Video (MP4)
- Music (MP3)
- 3D/VR (X3D)
