TA2 Band 3, pt 6 to 11, £25,989 to£28,142 pro rata or TA3 Band 4, pt 12 to 17, £28,598 to £31,022 pro rata (dependent on candidate)

The Governors of Urmston Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or 3) to join our highly motivated and dedicated team to work in Reception and in KS1.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

- At least Level 2/3 qualifications or equivalent
- Be familiar with early learning goals and children’s development in EY
- Have a good understanding of phonics teaching and skilled and experienced at delivering phonics
- Skilled at interacting with children and encouraging learning interactions
- An awareness of executive functioning and how to help nurture development
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- High expectations of children's learning and behaviour
- Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
- An effective team member
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
