Summary
Waste and Cleansing Supervisor needed in Rugby Paying £16.90 per hr ref 1687463
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations for waste collection, street cleansing, and environmental maintenance
- Allocate work, plan staff rotas, and ensure resources are used efficiently
- Carry out site inspections, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
- Support staff with operational issues, vehicle checks, and risk assessments
- Respond to service requests, missed collections, fly‑tipping, and other cleansing issues
- Train, coach, and motivate operatives to deliver high‑quality services
- Liaise with residents, businesses, contractors, and internal departments to resolve service concerns
- Report defects, hazards, and equipment issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records, service logs, and performance data
- Assist in incident management, accident reporting, and enforcement‑related tasks where required
