Hays are working with a leading manufacturing organisation in Exeter, who are seeking an organised Interim Finance Assistant to support their finance team. This is a hands‑on role requiring someone who can start quickly, manage busy transactional workloads, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions
- Support credit control and debt management
- Maintain the share capital register
- Complete account reconciliations
- Assist with maintaining accurate pricing for purchases and sales
- Provide general support across the Finance department
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- Professional communication and customer‑focused approach
- Flexible, helpful, and able to build strong working relationships
