Ensuring the delivery of high quality and empathetic homelessness advice through direct management of, and responsibility for, the day-to-day activity of the temporary accommodation team, including complex casework and supporting your team with their decision making.
Ensuring best use is made of available temporary accommodation stock, minimising empty units and costs to the council whilst ensuring that contingency plans are always in place in anticipation for emergency situations.

You will have a thorough understanding of the duties around the provision and management of local authority temporary accommodation, along with knowledge of current issues and pressures in this sector.
