The Role:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Plan, prepare and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum
- Inspire a love for literature and language
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Contribute positively to the wider English department
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for achieving excellent outcomes
- Committed, reliable and ready to make an immediate impact
- Supportive leadership team and welcoming department
