Summary


We are looking for a Minor Surgery Nurse / Theatre Assistant to join our Provide Wellbeing team, covering vasectomy clinics in Harpenden, Abbots Langley and Sawbridgeworth, on a bank basis.

Clinics in these areas typically run from 08:30 until 17:00, which includes set up and end of day activity. Clinics are available predominantly on Mondays and Thursdays.

Main duties of the job
• Preparing the room for the surgeon – cleaning and laying out instruments using the aseptic technique.
• Attending to/talking to patient during surgery.
• Providing post-operative information verbally and in leaflet format.
• Scanning of patient consent forms.
• Communicating with the admin team regarding any stock that needs to be replenished.
