To manage and coordinate non-clinical duties by managing patient flow through the Parkinson’s service, following specific pathways and processes, whilst ensuring that local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met. To be responsible for ensuring a professional, efficient comprehensive support service for the Parkinson’s Clinical Practitioners enabling the smooth and efficient performance of their clinical and administrative duties. Ensure that the service provided to People with Parkinson’s (PwP) is robust and service delivery optimised in terms of safety, quality, efficiency, effectiveness and equity

As a Parkinson’s Team Coordinator you will provide a weekday service to people with Parkinson's. You will work closely with the Parkinson's practitioners, Neurologists, Older People's Services Consultants, Pharmacists, General Practitioners, Therapists, Social Services and voluntary groups to enhance the care and improve the quality of life to people with Parkinson's.
Customer service including enquiries, shared email account management, telephone non-clinical support and signposting maintaining accurate record keeping. Problem solve all day-to-day service delivery issues organising and re-allocating work where situations change due to variations to the workload and staffing availability in collaboration with the Service Lead.
The ultimate aim is to provide a co-ordinated, accessible, well-governed service for patients with Parkinson’s that provides compassionate holistic, high-quality evidence-based care.
