Hours: 20 hours per week

Location: Hybrid Working - Rochdale Boroughwide and Home

What will my role be as an Inclusion Coordinator?

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust with
disabilities or long term health conditions. This includes planning, developing and delivering a wide ranging programme of
activities across the Borough, targeted to individuals with disabilities and long term health conditions, working with colleagues
across Your Trust to link inclusion activities with other physical and creative programmes, running a new co-production network
for individuals with specific needs and ensure all activities meet and contribute to the requirements of the funding whilst being
safe and fun.


What do I need to have?

* Qualified to Level 2 in Gym, Fitness or Group Exercise
* Qualified to Level 3 Certificate in Exercise Referral or Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Clients with Long Term Conditions or
demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 6 months
* Hold a Level 2 Community Sports Leader Award or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 6 months
* Experience of supporting or advising projects related to complex health, wellbeing or leisure
* Experience of developing and maintaining partnerships with public, private, community or voluntary groups
* Friendly, outgoing person who can adapt their approach for different audiences, working with different groups and ages
* Knowledge of disability and inclusion focussed barriers to participation, and ways to overcome these
* Knowledge of sport and/or physical activity interventions to support disability and inclusion
* Must be proactive, enthusiastic, able to use own initiative and work flexibly to deliver the service and as part of a Team
* Proven ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and members of the public including effective
management of compliments and complaints
* Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management skills
