Summary
Carer/ Personal Assistant Direct Payment, Clifton of Nottingham, NOTDJM1202
This position is supporting a disabled 67 year old male in the Clifton area of Nottingham.
Duties to include:
Taking the participant to outdoor pursuits eg. Fishing. No experience required as training will be given.
Assisting with DIY in the garage – again training will be provided.
Ensure the gentleman’s health needs of specific dietary requirements, administering medication and access to respiratory machines are met. Training will be provided.
Playing board games and jigsaws in the winter or severe bad-weather days.
It is essential that you have full UK licence (points are not an issue) as you will be required to drive large wheelchair adapted vehicle. You must be over 30 years of age to comply with the motor insurance. There is no upper age limit.
Personal care required both outside and inside of the home.
Additional tasks maybe required on occasions.
Working Hours – 8 hours per week
Tuesdays- 8.30am to 4.30pm but could be a different day of the week to suit the right candidate

5.6 weeks pro rata holiday allowance

A DBS will be carried out.
