Summary
New Homes Co-ordinator
Location: Staines/Hybrid
Salary: £28,280 to £29,768
Contract: Fixed term for 11 months, full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
DBS: Basic
Play a key role in the aftercare of our new homes! As a New Homes Co-ordinator, you’ll provide administrative support the management of defects and aftercare for new homes, acting as a key point of contract for residents, contractors and colleagues, helping to maintain high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Quality Control Manager and Contracts Manager, contributing to the effective delivery of new homes aftercare services
* Act as the main point of contact for residents, contractors and internal colleagues regarding defects and warranty-related queries
* Manage and monitor the Aftercare central mailbox, responding to enquiries and allocating actions appropriately
* Prepare, issue and manage correspondence and information using the CRM system and other platforms as required
* Liaise with contractors to chase updates and support the timely resolution of reported defects
* Contact residents to confirm works have been completed satisfactorily and record outcomes accurately
* Assist with the handling of formal complaints related to defects and warranty issues, in line with Group procedures
* Record snags and defects as directed and upload snag reports and end-of-defect inspection information to the relevant systems
* Maintain accurate customer contact and property records in line with policies, procedures and statutory requirements
* Run reports and prepare information for defect management and review meetings
* Support the Asset Department in delivering high-quality, compliant and customer-focused services
More About You
* Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grades A*–C)
* Experience of working in a customer-oriented service environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
* Confident and professional communicator, with excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Comfortable dealing with enquiries and complaints in a calm, organised and solution-focused manner
* Proficient in IT, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn and work across multiple systems
* Highly organised, able to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and maintain attention to detail
* Resilient and adaptable, able to identify issues, follow processes accurately and see tasks through to completion
* Performance-focused, with a conscientious approach to maintaining accurate records and high service standards
