Summary
We are looking for an energetic, kind and confident Personal assistant to support our 8-year-old daughter, who has additional needs. She enjoys going to the park, shops and swimming.
She is very energetic and going out, helps her burn off the extra energy. She will need someone who is confident and firm, when it comes to decision making. Including her in the decisions but being firm when the right decision needs to be met for her best interests. She has no danger awareness and someone who can ensure her safety is essential.
She is generally a very happy child. She can show some nonverbal cues, like biting herself, this comes when she is stressed and is only seen on rare occasions.
She has some dietary requirements and these will be taught as part of the job.
Someone who can drive and has used of their own car, would be preferred but not necessary.
We are offering 4 hours in Term time and 12 hours in Non Term time. With 5.6 weeks of holiday throughout the financial year. Ideally, looking for a Wednesday evening to be covered.
The hourly rate will be £12.21 per hour.
