About the role
Dan y Bryn is set in beautiful landscaped surroundings in the small village of Ynysmeudwy, on the outskirts of Pontardawe. We’re known for our excellent reputation as a quality and valued care provider, where the needs of our residents are always at the heart of what we do.
As a Night Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in supporting both residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
Motivating and leading the care team to provide exceptional support.
Ensuring safety and well-being by following all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Supervising & mentoring Care Workers to help them develop and thrive.
Maintaining records and documenting any concerns accurately.
Skills and Experience Needed
At least 2 years’ experience in a care worker role
NVQ/QCF Level 2 (or equivalent) and a willingness to work towards Level 3.
Experience in implementing and updating care plans, risk assessments, and audits.
Leadership experience, including team management, supervision, and conducting annual appraisals.

£26,315 FTE
Enhanced DBS which we will pay for
Social Care Wales registration is fully reimbursed
Pension Choices:
Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or,
Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.

Paternity Leave: 3 weeks
