Please note, at this stage, the role is open only to internal staff (including NHSP and Agency staff currently on placement within our organisation) and staff substantively employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). Any individual who is at risk of redundancy will be given priority, provided they meet the essential criteria.
This office-based role provides a high level of administration support to the Maidstone Liaison Psychiatry Service in its 24-hour provision of mental health assessments for individuals who attend the Emergency Department or are admitted on medical/surgical wards and have mental health needs.
The post may provide back-up support to the other West Kent hospital site, which may require very occasional travel to Tunbridge Wells Hospital – most of this support can be provided remotely from Maidstone Hospital.
· Provide comprehensive admin support to the team/service.
· Support the team manager with staffing levels, covering shifts and booking NHSP bank/agency staff.
· Answer telephone calls and take messages or divert to the relevant person.
· Provide support with caseload management using Rio, including monitoring to ensure all mandatory documentation has been completed.
· Monitor various data sources to ensure accuracy.
· Monitor Business Intelligence reports for performance compliance and highlight and rectify any errors.
· Ensure resources (such as forms, leaflets, documents) and supplies for the team are replenished and ordered in a timely manner.
· Keep accurate and up-to-date service data records.
· Send invites and produce meeting agendas, minutes other meeting papers.
· Maintain and update information resources in the office.
