Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Group IT Manager
Applications are invited from a suitably qualified professional to fulfil the above crucial role in the group’s oversight of the IT infrastructure, strategy and security across the multiple sites throughout the group.
This is a full time, permanent position based onsite in Glasgow (G40), working Monday to Thursday 08:15 – 16:45 and Friday 08:15 – 12:15 (36 hours per week). There may be infrequent travel to other UK and Ireland sites as required.
The successful applicant will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and technical teams, focusing on system centralisation and aligning IT operations with company goals. Key skills include strategic planning, team leadership, and robust knowledge of network infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement 3-year IT strategies, infrastructure roadmaps, and security frameworks.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise IT staff, fostering high performance across multiple locations.
System & Security Management: Ensure network stability, system uptime, and compliance with security standards.
Budgeting & Vendor Management: Oversee IT budgets and manage third-party service providers.
Operational Oversight: Manage internal systems and IT Helpdesk functions to ensure efficient support services to match SLA’s.
ERP System Management: Coordinate with ERP partner to utilise and expand on existing processes, flows and integrations with internal systems.

Person Specification:
Experience: Proven experience in a senior IT management role (minimum 48 months).
Knowledge of ERP systems is essential, with experience of implementation, optimisation or integration highly beneficial.
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
Experience supporting multi-site operations (circa 100 employees across the UK and Ireland) would be beneficial.
Education: Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (experience may be considered in place of formal education).
Certifications: ITIL, COBIT, or relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of network infrastructure, server administration, enterprise software (ERP/CRM), cloud technologies, SQL, PHP and API integration.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, project management, communication and problem-solving abilities.
