About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rota & Clinic Coordinator.
The successful person will be accountable for co-ordinating all the rotas for the community division. They may be requested to support or advise the surgical division in rota preparation and implementation.
We are looking for someone who can.
Set up clinics on the CHS EPR bookings system and NHS E Referral, at least six months in advance.
Develop, plan, prepare and produce the clinic rotas for all geographic areas for all Doctor and technician clinics. These must be undertaken at least three months in advance.
Respond to unforeseen sickness, absence ensuring that replacement personnel is found to reduce the risk of clinical capacity cancellation.
In the event of cancelled clinics, reinstate clinics to reduce the impact on patient care, waiting times and operations.
Liaise with the HR department to establish booked annual leave, study leave etc making the necessary arrangements for clinician cover.
Work alongside the RBMC Management team, analysing and highlighting clinic capacity and demand issues, to organise where extra capacity is needed or needs amendment.
Organising additional capacity, for ad hoc waiting list initiatives.
Supporting mobilisation of new services with a particular focus on the ensuring all new services are effectively staffed prior to a Go Live. Highlighting any key risks in a timely manner.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems
The ability to learn and adapt to new internal systems
Self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to prioritise and schedule work independently
Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects
Strong communication skills including internal and external stakeholder
