Do you want to lead a team which is improving the way adult mental health care is provided in the community? Hounslow Central Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) is a community-based service supporting people’s mental and physical health as well as social care needs. We work closely with the local GP practices, primary care networks, social services, voluntary sector and other organisations to provide interventions in a more collaborative way which are simpler and support joined-up, personalised treatment and care. The Community Mental Health Framework represents a new approach to providing community-based integrated support, care and treatment for adults with mental health problems whatever their level of need.
An opportunity has arisen for a six-month secondment for a Team Manager with the potential for extension. This secondment would be suitable for someone wishing to step up into a leadership role or to step sideways into a mental health.
As the Team Manager you will have oversight of the effective day to day operational management of a mixed multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, community psychiatric nurses, occupational therapy, social work, link and peer support workers as well as the mental health ARRs workers based in the primary care networks.
Responsibilities include workforce (recruitment, supervision, well-being, absence management, appraisals), budget management, governance, productivity, service development and complex clinical matters.
You will work alongside the Service Manager, other team managers across the borough both within MINT and local services to support and develop the strategic approach of MINT.
Through borough-based partnerships you will work closely with the directors of the primary care networks (PCNs), specialist services, crisis and inpatient, to name a few.
