A welcoming and community‑focused secondary school in South Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department on a supply basis. The school is part of a supportive trust and offers a positive environment for both staff and students.
The Role
- Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering pre‑planned lessons and maintaining continuity for learners
- Supporting practical lessons and ensuring a safe, well‑organised environment
- Working collaboratively with the wider D&T team and senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
- Confident delivering both theory and practical lessons
- Adaptable, reliable, and able to engage learners of mixed abilities
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
