Summary

Your new school
Hays Education are working with a welcoming and well‑established primary school in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham, who are seeking a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide support across EYFS to Key Stage 2. This role is to start after February half-term and is full‑time, offering long‑term stability for the right candidate.

Your new role
You will be working flexibly across year groups, supporting teaching and learning, delivering small‑group interventions, and assisting with general classroom duties.


The role also includes elements of personal care, so you must be comfortable with tasks such as supporting pupils with additional needs.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Confidence managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach
  • Willingness to support with personal care where required
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
