Summary
To be responsible for undertaking basic clinical duties following agreed protocols such as anthropometry including height, weight and calculating BMI, collecting basic feeding information, sharing and recording information appropriately. To record patient anthropometric measurements and other relevant details using standard recording procedure and adhering to department standards. To be responsible for liaising with GPs, health visitors, school nurses, childrens community nurses and other professionals to collect relevant information as required. To communicate with parents/carers and health professionals and disseminate dietetic information as required by paediatric dietitians. Essential Skills and Experience: Prior experience working in ahealth or social careenvironment, especially in adietetic or nutrition-related role, is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skillswith the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strongorganisational skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols. Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills for record-keeping and documentation. Previous experience in teaching or mentoring others in a healthcare setting is beneficial. Self-motivated, with the ability to manage your time effectively and handle a variety of tasks Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010) Successful applicants will be required to demonstrate alignment with the Trusts values - Accountability, Inclusion, Compassion, and Empowerment, alongside fulfilling the duties detailed in the attached Job Description and Person Specification.'
