We are a specialist subcontractor delivering water infrastructure projects within a major UK water framework. We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee works on a live water project in Haslemere, working alongside the main contractor and framework partners.
Role OverviewThe Site Supervisor will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of site activities, ensuring works are completed to programme, quality, and water industry standards. You will act as the key link between site operatives, subcontract teams, and the main contractor.
Key Responsibilities-
Supervise day-to-day site operations on water infrastructure works

Ensure works are delivered safely in accordance with company procedures and framework standards

Oversee RAMS implementation and ensure workforce compliance

Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to meet programme requirements

Maintain site records including diaries, permits, inspections, and progress reports

Liaise with the main contractor, client representatives, and stakeholders

Ensure quality standards are met and works comply with specifications

Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and briefings

Monitor subcontractor performance and site productivity

Support commercial team with progress reporting and variations where required

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on water or utilities projects

Experience working within a water framework environment (preferred)

Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and CDM regulations

SMSTS or SSSTS (SMSTS preferred)

CSCS card (Supervisor level or above)

EUSR Water Hygiene (essential)

First Aid at Work (preferred)

Strong communication and coordination skills

Ability to manage site documentation and reporting

Temporary Works knowledge

Experience working on live water networks

NRSWA (if applicable to scope)
