Teaching Assistant - SEMH Specialist School
Location: Leicestershire (LE8)
Pay: £103-£110 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term with the opportunity to become permanent
We are working in partnership with a small, specialist SEMH school in the LE8 area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school supports pupils who have found mainstream education challenging and provides a calm, structured, and nurturing environment with very small class sizes and high levels of individual support.
Pupils follow a personalised curriculum that combines academic learning with outdoor activities and wellbeing-focused sessions. Strong relationships, clear routines, and consistency are central to helping pupils regulate emotions, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
