Summary

Our client, a highly regarded educational institution in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the class teacher in delivering a high-quality educational experience for students. As a Full-time Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help or guidance
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to thrive
- Collaborating with the class teacher to monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Participating in educational activities, such as field trips and extracurricular events
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress and support

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role
- A strong understanding of the curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow the guidance of the class teacher
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn and grow in the role
