Year 5 Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible

Duties as Year 5 Teaching Assistant:

  • Support pupils with SEMH and emotional regulation needs
  • Lead small intervention groups when required
  • Reinforce key learning tasks and help pupils stay engaged
  • Follow personalised support and behaviour plans
  • Assist the class teacher with daily lesson activities
  • Promote consistent routines and positive behaviour
  • Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to maintain a calm learning space
  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Year 5 Teaching Assistant:
